Sizes from 34-XS to 46-2XL (size chart in CM and IN)

Fabric: thick cotton or synthetic jersey with 5-8% elastan (220 grm like my red version not enough). Cotton or yoga pants style fabric.

Hi guys! A better intro of my boyfriend boxer shorts pattern #diybfshorts.
- Fabric to pick is cotton jersey with 5% of elastan, about 220 gms. This is the fabric I used to develop the pattern, you can see the two previous toiles I made in the video tutorial on Youtube (link in bio). However, you could pick a modal jersey, or bamboo, or supplex, but be aware that the stretch might be different and therefore I might not fit well. I got lucky with the modal jersey right there, but I feel that the stretch is a tiny bit less firm than my cotton version = it feels just a tad bigger.
- The waistband should be special for boxer shorts/underwear. They make them soft and with an agreeable firmness of stretch. I got this blue tape on Etsy, https://etsy.me/3XiTQwd.
- For maximal comfort, the inner seams are hidden! No annoying seams tickling our sensitive parts thanks to...
- ... the burrito method hunts you? Gotta make these shorts then. The method appears twice, that's the only difficulty. Face the fear my friend.

Hi there! I'm gonna try something new and I'm kinda scared!! I'll be selling the Comfort Hood as a finished product, made to order, just one size for now, adult size 55-59 cm of head circumference. I will be sewing them but also... someone else will.
So remember when I said in a story that I was showing a friend's sister how to sew? The friend is first a friend of my bf's, they're both Colombians, living in France. She is a lawyer and human rights activist. I've only known her for a year but in this meantime she's helped 2 people, a friend and a cousin emigrate here in all legality (they easily got papers for being gay). Two weeks ago, she helped her aunt and uncle come over with their 2 kids, and so the 18 yo young lady who wanted to learn how to sew is one of them (so it's her cousin, not her sis, whatever). She's already learning French to enter uni next year, earning money doing some cleanings, and because she loves fashion, she came to me to learn sewing. Since some of you guys have been asking for already made hoods, a new opportunity appeared so I thought of her making them that way she can support her family a bit (her dad already found a job but the mom hasn't yet and the brother is very young). I'll be there to make sure the quality is good and to do the customer service with you in English/French. She'll be in charge when it's Spanish though, so she can learn a bit how a small Etsy shop works! I think it can be a nice opportunity!

Some more pics of this project of mine then I'll leave you in peace! This is a hat I made using my Protect That Neck hat pattern, I kept the head part as such and rounded + enlarged the brim. This version turned out very nicely: I managed to keep the brim lifted using some random light and stiff fabric I had in my stash (instead of interfacing) combined with corset boning. For the second version though, while filming the tutorial, I tested several types of interfacing including the stiffest + lightest I could find + boning, and it didn't work! I simply couldn't come up with the right material list to recommend. Now I think the best thing to use would be some light and bouncy cable/wire to insert all around the brim. Maybe for another time!

Have I mentioned before that I'm afraid of North Americans? Someone commented under my reel that "that makeup you used (slanted eye makeup and lips painted smaller) can be seen as yellow face. Being Asian is not an aesthetic", quoting here to avoid distorting the words. I didn't reply since I was fuming. I always try to isolate when I'm angry! I am not North American nor am I a native English speaker: this notion was born in a specific cultural context and may not apply in another. I have come across this concept of "cultural appropriation" online and I find it conceptually not solid at all. It's also not in line with this ideal I have for myself of wanting to be a courageous, sharing and open-minded person that doesn't listen to her prejudice - which might be different to yours btw. While from what I understood this notion bears anger, defensiveness and the idea of separation.

Now that I've said it, I'll remain silent. As anything I might say might be used against me.

Hi there! Hope you're well today! Here is a modified Athens, with side slits and buttons, modified armholes to show more shoulders and no zipper. That was me thinking it'll be so grand to not have a zipper to sew coz they used to impress me, and I can tell you that I REGRET not including one!!!! These 30 something buttons are a nightmare 😤to do and undo!

I love these buttons though! I could also imagine modifying the front to have a running line of buttons in the middle - maybe with a V shaped neckline (- and still, a zipper!), but there are probably a few other ways to use buttons to bring a bit of spice to the Athens dress and its rather classic and sober design.

These are pics I took at the end of last summer, and not very high quality. I made the dress and the tutorial but didn't publish, I didn't have the confidence...

Hellöö there!! I've published the QT dress just earlier on Youtube, it's a mix of the QT tee and the Eta skirt, that later being an old pattern of mine. I made the dress in a polyester jersey of really average quality, which bears a print I love tho! I used it in the very first video I published when I started my Youtube channel!

The sandals are from Asos and the quality was poor and they hurt: the sole is so rigid you can't bend your feet when walking! Still, I liked the design so used them for the shoot and sent them BACK!

Conclusion: a whole outfit that looks good but feels poor.

Hi there everyone! My highly, highly requested (lol) slip dress tutorial is live on Youtube! It's a mix of two patterns, the Kate tank top, part of my SS22 collection, and the Eta skirt, part of no collection, just an oldie. The skirt pattern is mini so I lengthened it by 50 cm. And the dress is fully lined! Good I found this thin jersey coz with 2 layers of regular 200 gms cotton jersey things would heat up really quickly so I don't recommend (but it's more shaping!). Inspo is the 90s of course, but also the 90s revisited by Skims, let's be honest here. And I'm not angry about long dresses being back in trend, hides the bruises, the hairs, and well, the legs, while showing no less since it's bodycon... trade off!

The Kate tank top is half price at 4.5€ until the 11th of June, and for the Eta skirt, it's permanently 4.5€. Careful tho, as the Eta skirt only goes up to size 42/XL. Link in bio for the tutorial, kiss!

Happy Monday everyone! Here's the Kate take top, a 90s inspired minimal tank top. Once again I used some cotton jersey for this pattern, which is one of my favorite fabrics to work with and wear for tops. It features a boat neckline, little straps, and it's double-sided. Inspo is the 90s, in particular Calvin Klein - find pics in the end (1997)! I made a dress using this pattern combined with my Eta knit skirt pattern which is an older pattern of mine, I'll publish the video tutorial in a bit.
Also, I must say that this blue version is cropped, so the actual pattern is longer - I often make a version with more as it's easy to make less with it.
